SeaworldShamu

There is no other park like Seaworld.  At seaworld you can witness the famous Shamu and interact with dolphins, while also experiencing thrills like the Journey of Atlantis and Shipwreck Rapids.  There are shows and exhibits, both day and night, where you can witness polar bears, sharks, walrus, and several other arctic and sea animals.

World Famous San Diego ZooPanda
The San Diego Zoo is one of the most popular destinations in San Diego.  The zoo is home to over 4,000 animals from all parts of the world.  It is one of the largest zoos in the world and  known for its various exhibits not seen in other zoos.  Some of the most popular exhibits are the Koalas and Giant Pandas which were brought over from China.

Wild Animal Park

The Wild Animal Park is a 2,100 acre park that features animals roaming freely as they would in their natural habitats.  It features a silent tram tour which travels throughout the entire park allowing you to witness animals living in their natural habitats made up of native and exotic plants that would be found in their native regions of the world.

Legoland

San Diego is home to the only Lego themed park in the United States.  There are over 50 rides, shows, and attractions.  Most of the park is created with legos where kids can explore and use their own creativity.  The park features the new attraction Splash Battle which is an interactive shoot-'em-up boat ride.


Casinos

There are a number of casinos located in San Diego. 

The most popular  casinos are Viejas,Casino Sycuan, and Barona.

Viejas Outlet and Casino features a 280,000 square foot  casino which is largest American indian casino in California.  Viejas also features an outlet center with

over 60 brand names to choose from.

Sycuan Casino and Resort features an exclusive golf course with a championship 18-hole course.  In addition to 2000 slots and 60 gaming tables, it also features fine dining options such as Paipa's Oasis Buffet.

 

Barona Casino and Resort features a magnificent hotel with nearly 400 hotel rooms, with a pool and fitness center.  It also features some great dining such as Ranch House Buffet.  In addition, it features a Golf Club that offers five different tees for various skill levels.

Stonewall Peak 

Stonewall is a oak lined trail with excellent views of the North and South.  This hiking trail is great for all skill levels since it is on well maintained trail and hike time is around 3 hours with a 4.5 mile round trip.  This trail is one of the most popular in Cuyamaca State Park which features black oak and sycamore trees.  This trail is located across highway 79.  For more information visit the attractions page


Blue Sky Ecological Reserve

Blue Sky is another hike for all skill levels with a 2.5 mile round trip.  It features numerous sights and sounds of rare plants and animals species.  This trail is located near Poway off Rancho Bernardo Rd.  For more information visit the attractions page.

GolfingGolf Course

Looking for a great golf course?  San Diego offers all types of golf courses for any skill level.  Below are two featured golf courses: Bonita Golf Course which is minutes from La Pacifica and the famous

Torrey Pines Golf Course which is home to the Buick Invitiational.

Bonita Golf Course: A scenic course crossed by Sweetwater River  Greens are generally average size with moderate sized fairway bunkers in two of the three par-5s and two water hazards on Par-5 13th.

Torrey Pines:  Torrey Pines is home to the Buick Invitational.  It has breathtaking challenges but also breathtaking views for the more skilled players.

Biking

There are great biking trails located near La Pacifa RV. 

 

Swetwater Lake Trail in Bonita:  A mixed dirt road that is 14 miles long.

Penasquitos Canyon in Sorrento Valley:  An easy, out and back, 12 mile round trip with gentle terrain.
